LEAD – Leadership Education And Development – is a new learning program from Learning and Organizational Development fostering employee leadership at NC State University. Starting in January 2021, L&OD is waiving the course fee for the majority of courses offered under the new program in support of the NC State employee community during the COVID-19 pandemic. LEAD courses are available throughout the year to staff and faculty. The courses focus on vital leadership concepts like team collaboration, adaptive management skills, administrative duties and more. LEAD activities are self-directed, giving employees the freedom to choose activities that fit their professional development goals and personal schedule. Participants can also enroll in LEAD certificate programs to be formally recognized for their participation in activities such as LEAD courses, learning events and e-learning. |
